Lakeshore Construction is more than just a General Contracting firm - we’re a family business built on generations of experience, craftsmanship, and integrity. Led by father-son duo Larry Wittmer and Trey Wittmer, our story is one of tradition, resilience, and a deep passion for building homes and commercial spaces that stand the test of time.
Our journey began in Northeast Ohio in 1992, when Lawrence Wittmer and his son, Larry Wittmer, co-founded 21st Homes, a home-building company that quickly grew, constructing over 150 homes annually. The 2006 housing market downturn led to new opportunities, bringing the Wittmer family to Fort Mill, South Carolina, where Larry continued his legacy in foundation repair and construction.
Fast forward to 2025, and another Wittmer father-son team is carrying that legacy forward with Lakeshore Construction. With Larry’s decades of expertise and Trey’s fresh vision and leadership, our company specializes in residential and commercial remodels, additions, and custom spec homes throughout the Fort Mill & Charlotte area.
